Kaziranga National Park reopens for the 2026-27 tourist season

Kaziranga National Park reopened for tourists on 3 October 2026 after its annual monsoon closure.

Forest Minister Jayanta Mallabaruah formally reopened it at the Central Kohora Range. Jeep safaris began on the opening day.

Kaziranga recorded 4,68,147 visitors in 2025-26, more than 15% up on the previous season.
